We are delighted to share that EB Critical is proudly sponsoring The Happiness Club to deliver an engaging and impactful programme for pupils from Year 1 through to Year 6 at Malpas Alport Primary School over the coming weeks.
This initiative is designed to place emotional wellbeing at the heart of the school experience, equipping children with practical, age-appropriate tools for self-regulation and ‘self-rescuing’. Through a series of interactive, hands-on sessions, pupils will be introduced to techniques that help them better understand their emotions, manage challenges, and build resilience in a supportive and encouraging environment. These sessions are intentionally designed to spark meaningful discussion, encourage reflection, and create those all-important “lightbulb moments” that can have a lasting impact well beyond the classroom.
At EB Critical, we strongly believe that when children are given the skills to regulate their emotions and respond positively to setbacks, it creates a foundation for success in every other area of their lives. Confidence grows, relationships strengthen, and learning becomes more accessible when emotional wellbeing is prioritised. By supporting this programme, we are investing not only in the immediate school community but also in the long-term development of the next generation.
As a business rooted in the community, it is incredibly important to us to play an active role in supporting young people. We recognise that the skills developed through programmes like this – self-awareness, resilience, and emotional intelligence are just as vital as academic achievement. These are the tools that help children navigate an increasingly complex world with confidence and clarity.
We are genuinely excited to see this programme come to life and to witness the positive impact it will have on pupils across all year groups. It is a privilege to support Katie Millard from The Happiness Club in delivering such meaningful work, and we look forward to seeing the lasting benefits it brings to both the children and the wider community.
